Do you have coaching experience, either as a professional coach, or through developing members of your own teams?
FidesOak are recruiting for professional associate coaches to work with us to support our clients in achieving a High Performing Culture within their organisations. The role is to coach and mentor individuals, and work with teams on defined areas of focus that are recognised to contribute to high performance. Dependent on the specific project, the role can be remote and/or site based, and on a rotational or fixed set of days basis. FidesOak has a number of assessment, measurement and profiling tools to provide context helping identify areas of focus and individual goals, as well as the defined ‘elements’ that have been recognised as contributing to a high performing culture.
You will be responsible for providing high quality support to individuals and teams through professional coaching and mentoring and providing feedback and challenge. You will be required to use the tools provided by FidesOak and will be given training to use and apply these where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a structured and appropriate development journey for individuals and teams enabling them to maximise their potential and performance in their role
- Maintain accurate records of coaching conversations using the FidesOak methodology and tools
- Monitor progress and success of coachees, offering feedback against their role and the High Performing Teams model, and other tools that may have been used to assess or measure
- Provide insights and experience where appropriate to support the development journey
- Deploy methodologies to ensure the continuity of the development journey, which may be ‘in person’ coaching, or via ‘virtual’ means
- Seek feedback from coachee on your coaching performance, and practice self-reflection
- Maintain your own continuous professional development to ensure high standards of coaching and mentoring
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Recognised coaching qualification and/or accreditation by a coaching association at the appropriate level for the coaching being undertaken
or
- Proven experience in coaching, either as a practicing professional coach, or as a significant part of a role in the development of people
Key Skills
- Personal self-awareness and self-management with the ability to reflect and self-evaluate
- Understands the practice of coaching and coaching approaches; can apply coaching models
- Is able to establish a professional coach/coachee relationship, and understands the boundaries
- Is able to demonstrate empathy, and has the ability to adapt approach, behaviours and language to accommodate the coachee while maintaining a sense of self
- Manages the coach/coachee relationship without fostering a dependency
- Is an effective listener; alert to verbal and non-verbal cues
- Is able to use a wide range of questioning techniques
- Is able to offer feedback and challenge in a professional and non-judgemental manner
- Is able to support the coachee in identifying goals and remaining goal oriented, to support development within the context of the role and client organisational requirements
- Can identify and evaluate progress with the coachee
- Can deploy virtual methodologies such as Teams or Zoom to ensure continuity of coaching, and be flexible with the coachees requirements
- Planning and organisation of appointments, whilst demonstrating flexibility where appropriate
- Maintaining detailed and concise records
